Tuesday – surprise hive inspection

we saw plenty of fresh worker brood

Beautifully spread on nearly whole brood chamber(8 frames wide nest). We saw also some drone brood telling us the hive is getting ready for the season including swarming.

Next Tuesday inspections we’ll be looking for queen cells, and fresh eggs to asses a potential to split the hive in three like in the video below.

This include our hives in Broomhill Gardens Hub and those on Cornalees – The Cut, down the glen.

Than we’ll need to asses the situation and plan for new future hives
